This year has brought some new and exciting news to our world here at Environmental Remedies. Since our inception, we’ve been dedicated to being the leading service provider of waste disposal and industrial services in the Southeast. However, throughout the years, we’ve become aware of ways in which we could improve our current model to help better serve our customers.
Last month we announced our acquisition of the A&D facility located in Macon, GA, and non-hazardous solidification permit. This acquisition was a strategic move to help us better serve our clients, from start to finish. This addition will help us to broaden our operations, allowing us to now provide services for those with:
- Sludge
- Waste deemed not treatable at Environmental Remedies located in Atlanta, GA
- Totes
- Drums
- Pails
- Pallets
- Super Sacks
Environmental Remedies in Macon, GA will also have a 10-day hazardous waste storage area. This will enable our robust fleet to pick-up hazardous waste, transfer/store the waste in Macon, GA, and dispose of same at approved alternative disposal facilities.
Our goal for this acquisition is not to have two separate locations, one in Atlanta and one in Macon, but rather to have these locations work hand-in-hand to create a full service, one-stop-shop for waste disposal and industrial cleaning servicing. This new location will allow us to now take on wastes from the above-listed items, separate out materials, and transport those needed for solidification out to our Macon facility. This will ultimately reduce costs and improve efficiency for our clients, as we will no longer need to outsource materials not fit for processing at our Atlanta-based location.
